Animals and humans have an affectionate connection that can’t be described in words. However, a few humans have the daring to tame exotic animals. Emotions and excitement are generally shared with pets and probably in hopes to receive a comparatively good response from them. Many people are attracted to and involved in animal husbandry and exhibiting business.
Owing to inheritance interest, Dubai Policeman Masoud Alhammad thought over the animal husbandry project and converted his garden area into a small exhibiting business. He deployed rare trifling animals and installed plants of significant values. Production and reproduction facilities of animals and plants generated multi-fold income which he reinvested in acquiring more surrounding land to increase incremental production and reproduction facilities.
Gradually his garden transformed into a park wherein the visits of foreigners added value to his place. Several plants and flowers like red jasmine, flamingo, snapdragon, marigold, mirabilis and others are implanted there. Several species like White Tigers, Albino Owls, Albino Leopard Cat, Komodo Dragon, Ring-Tailed Lemur, White Crows and many more are in his for quite a long time now.
However, the Lieutenant Colonel did not satisfy here. He further extrapolated his plan to convert the park into a zoo. Hence, he approached the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Government of UAE for extending assistance in enabling him to acquire more land and resources. Fortunately, on thorough examinations and checks, his project got approved. Masoud Alhammad contacted multiple governments of various countries and added exclusive flora and fauna in his zoo.
He arranged training schools for young students who were interested in making a career in animal husbandry and botanical subject. Post the training, he helped the students in servicing in his zoo. Mr Masoud says, “Interest and dedication always pay off. A holistic approach and a clear vision are more important to accomplish anything in life.” Masoud Alhammad who started taming exotic animals has now seen him building a huge zoo for visitors coming in from any nuke and corner of the world.
