ED arrests former TMC MP KD Singh in money laundering case

Former TMC Rajya Sabha MP KD Singh has been taken into custody by ED after interrogation in the money laundering case. The alchemist group chief KD Singh was charged with the Rose valley and Sarda Chit fund cases. He was summoned by ED today for questioning. After a long interrogation, he was dissatisfied with his reply and was taken into custody by ED. It has been revealed that ed had been interrogated for about six and a half hours yesterday in the charge of the Rose valley Chit fund. Even today, they were called for questioning. The crores of rupees of common people were manipulated in chit fund losses.

As per the information received, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had aled cash of Rs. 32 lakh and the US $10,000 in the residence of KD Singh and some other places. The investigation was made in connection with the investigation of the money laundering case against him. Ed said that raids were made in Delhi and Chandigarh including registered offices of 14 companies of the Alchemist group. Alchemist is a company controlled by the group. ED has taken this action at a time when there are assembly elections in Bengal this year.

BJP attacks TMC, TMC demands arrest of Mukul: After KD Singh's custody, Bengal BJP Vice President Jay Prakash Majumdar attacked TMC and said that it was clear from the custody of KD Singh as to the people who had given patronage in the TMC state. Today, TMC tells BJP leaders outsiders, is KD Singh not an outsider. On the other hand, TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said that KD Singh was brought by BJP leader Mukul Roy in TMC and because of which Mukul Roy is responsible. ED should also arrest Mukul Roy and he should also be interrogated.
