The campaign honours the contributions of unheralded national heroes.
Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY): PM Modi announced free rationing for the underprivileged part of society during the first phase of COVID. The scheme was then extended for another six months during the second wave, until March 2022.
Ayushman Bharat and universal vaccination: In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government began a statewide immunisation campaign. India has administered over 193 crore doses of the COVID vaccine in what is said to be the world's largest vaccination effort.
Rescue operations from Afghanistan and Ukraine: Following the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Operation Devi Shakti in Afghanistan to rescue stranded Indians. In Afghanistan, more than 700 individuals were evacuated.
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana: Under this scheme, Farmers receive Rs 6,000 in three instalments of Rs 2,000 per year through this scheme, directly sent to their bank accounts.
Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana: The Modi government introduced this initiative in 2015 to give everyone with affordable housing. More than 2 crore individuals have been given homes under the scheme, according to data accessible till the end of March 2020
