New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized six properties belonging to Kashmir-based terrorists in a major action against Pakistan-based terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen leader Syed Salahuddin in connection with providing funds to terrorists. Officials have said that the ED had seized 13 such properties under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in March this year.

According to the said law, this order of confiscation was issued after the decisive authority recently issued the order. The ED has said that these confiscated properties are located in three districts Anantnag, Bandipora and Baramulla. These assets are registered in the name of Hizbul militants, identified as Mohammad Shafi Shah, Talib Lali, Ghulam Nabi Khan, Zafar Hussain Bhat, Abdul Majid Sophie, Nazir Ahmed Dar and Manzoor Ahmed Dar.

The Enforcement Directorate said that the total value of these 13 properties seized is Rs 1.22 crore and the people in whose name these properties were registered, allegedly work for the terrorist organization. Giving information, officials have told that the process of confiscation of other property will also start soon.
