Erica Fernandes: "I don't have any regrets and I never wonder"

Erica Fernandes, who was most recently seen in the television series Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi (2021), is awaiting the arrival of something exciting. The actress began her career in South Asian films before gradually turning to Hindi television shows. We ask Erica if she hopes to work on a South film because the region's film industry has recently produced some of the biggest blockbusters. "Vizhithiru, my most recent South film, came out in 2017, and I became very busy with Hindi TV shows after that. Despite my desire to work in South Asian films, I haven't been actively looking for any or attending auditions.

Erica says, "I've been doing music videos," when asked what has kept her busy since the end of her previous TV show. Other things are in the works, but I can't discuss them at this time. I'm not concentrating on any one medium right now, she continues. I don't mind doing TV or the web. Everything depends on the story that is pitched to me and whether or not it meets my requirements.

The actress entered the entertainment industry more than ten years ago after winning Bombay Times Fresh Face 2010. Following her participation in the Miss India pageant in 2012, she began acting. Erica says she is content with how things have turned out for her over the past ten years. She declares, "I am happy with my journey so far.

"I don't have any regrets, and I never consider whether things would have turned out better if I had done something different," says Erica. I have faith in fate. I've gained knowledge from my experiences, and everything I've learned will advance my life.

The actress from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 acknowledges that the hardest part of acting is not having enough time for your personal life. It becomes challenging when you work on a daily soap, she says. Additionally, there are many time restrictions on TV, whereas there is more time for other activities with other media. Because I've worked in both TV and movies, I can say this.

On a personal level, Erica insists that she is unmarried. Does she want to find Mr. Right soon? "I am open to being in a relationship, but I won't rush into any. Due to bad experiences in the past, I have trust issues, which is why I'm giving myself space to recover. I want to heal completely before entering the next relationship because I don't want to bring any baggage with me in the future.

Erica says she has learned a lot from her previous relationships and continues, "People realize what they really want and do not want in life after having failed relationships. For me, a relationship needs to have a certain level of comfort and understanding so that I can tell the other person anything and the other way around. They ought to respect one another and give one another space as well.
