Facebook after bringing some changes in their Messenger app has now decided to convert their small tab-categories into an App. The newest and the only till now is “Events”. Just like you had the events panel on facebook wall you will now have an app for that. This event is said to be a new planner for gatherings and meetings at an event with your facebook friends.

The app will tell you about the latest happening event around you and you and your friends can make a plan over it. The app is only released in the iOS flatform till now and not yet released in India.  Although a ‘coming soon’ message appeared for the people using the Google powered Android.

More than 100 million people daily use Facebook's events section to discover activities they can take part in with friends, according to Koolwal.

The Events app will let people browse for happenings based on factors such as location or interest, and to explore potential outing options with the help of interactive maps.
