Renowned Canadian TikTok star Megha Thakur passed away "suddenly and unexpectedly". Her parents have given this news. She was 21 years old. Megha Thakur, who has more than 9,30,000 followers on TikTok, was known for promoting body positivity. She also often posted videos of her dance.
In an Instagram post from Megha's profile, her parents shared that Megha passed away on November 24. They wrote, "With a heavy heart we announce that the light of our lives, our kind, caring and beautiful daughter Megha Thakur passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in the early hours of November 24, 2022."
Megha's parents wrote, "Megha was a confident and independent girl. She will be greatly missed. She loved her fans and wanted you to know about her demise. At this time, we request your blessings for Megha. Your thoughts and prayers will be with her in her journey ahead.'' Many fans took to Instagram and Twitter to pay tribute to Megha Thakur. Megha Thakur's parents moved to Canada when she was only one year old. After passing out of Mayfield Secondary School in 2019, she went on to study at Western University. Soon after joining college, she made her TikTok debut and soon became famous.
