New Delhi: In protest against the new agricultural laws, farmers from many states including Punjab, Haryana and UP have come and demonstrated at the Tikari border. The farmers of the villages near the Tikri border are supporting the agricultural laws. These farmers say that the protesting farmers should leave the Tikri border and go to Burari Maidan where the government has given them a place.

These farmers say that the agitating farmers are not aware of the new agricultural laws. They are protesting under the pretext of opposition parties. People here are upset with the blockage due to the movement. These people are facing a lot of problems in traffic. The residents here go to Bahadurgarh in Haryana to purchase goods. Their closest market in Delhi is Nangloi. Due to the distance of Nangloi from here to Bahadurgarh, these people visit Bahadurgarh every day. Ever since the agitating farmers started protest here, these people are facing a lot of problems.

Farmers are sitting on a continuous protest even in the chilling cold. Women have also taken over the reins. Women are arriving with their children at UP Gate and Chilli Border. Women say that we are not going to move away until the government withdraws the agricultural laws.
