Bengaluru: Ram Navami was celebrated with pomp across the country on Thursday, but communal violence broke out in Karnataka. A violent fight broke out between two groups outside a mosque in Karnataka's Hassan city due to a Ram Navami procession. Due to this, four people were seriously injured in the knife attack. Police have identified three of these persons as Murli, Harsh, and Rakhi. The police said two miscreants barged into the procession and started wielding knives. Thereafter, they fled from the spot.

Let us tell you that this incident happened near Channarayapatna. Bajrang Dal workers were taking out a Ram Navami procession. Police said when the procession reached a mosque on Begur Road, two men entered into an argument with Bajrang Dal workers and stabbed four people.

Another complaint has been registered with the police. Azhar Ahmed has claimed that some people in the procession were carrying stones and sticks with them. Ahmad told the police that the participants in the rally were also raising the slogan 'Send Muslims to Pakistan'. He also claimed that some Bajrang Dal workers surrounded him. In addition, some pelted stones at his vehicle. He alleged that 15 to 20 people tried to attack him.
