Silambarasan is currently filming for 'Maanadu', a political thriller helmed by Venkat Prabhu, and the film is nearing the finish line. As per the latest report, Silambarasan's 'Maanadu' final shoot is happening in Hosur Aerodrome. After filming the major portions in Chennai and Pondicherry, the 'Maanadu' team has been off to Hosur for their final schedule. Director Venkat Prabhu is filming an airport sequence featuring Silambarasan in Hosur Aerodrome, and it will be a wrap-up by today or early tomorrow.
Silambarasan will be seen in a cool new look in the upcoming political thriller. He will be seen essaying the role of Abdul Khaaliq. This is Silambarasan’s first avatar as an Islam believer, and fans are excited to watch the film. Kalyani Priyadarshan is playing the leading lady in ‘Maanadu’, while the film also features some big names like SJ Suryah, Bharathiraja, and SA Chandrasekar in some pivotal roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music, and the first single track Meherezylaa is already doing well on the musical platforms.
After completing ‘Maanadu’, Silambarasan will be resuming the work for 'Nadhigalilae Neeradum Suriyan' with Gautham Menon, and it's going to be busy days for the actor as he has work to complete for multiple films.
