Lucknow: A bill slip of a shop is being used to propagate Islam in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. After the disclosure, the police are now detaining and interrogating the owner of the billing shop. On the other hand, the picture is being shared fast on social media. It has 'Islam Is The Only Solution.' As per the latest information in the case, police have taken into custody businessman Mohammad Salim located in Meston Road and registered a case under Section 505(2) against him.

Salim owns Hasin and Company India, which supplies cow, buffalo and goatskin to shopkeepers in Kanpur. This company works with 5-10 employees. It delivers dry rubber content and raw skin of cows, buffaloes and goats and leather made from it. Inquiries with the businessman revealed that his father had brought a machine 10 years ago to make the bill. He had written this for business. Abbu died three years ago. Salim gave a written apology in the matter saying that his intention was not to hurt anyone. DCP East Pramod Kumar said the matter came to notice through social media. Police identified the shopkeeper and he was summoned for questioning and inquired. Based on the information that has been revealed, action will be taken by checking it.

Police Commissioner Asim Arun has said that a report has been filed against the businessman under section 505(2) IPC. The case under section carries an imprisonment of 3 years and a fine. Salim was questioned by the police headquarters as well as administrative level officials. Later, IB and ATS also questioned him. According to some reports, he has been served a notice after a long interrogation and has been released for now.
