Fire erupts at RIL plant in Raigad, people get afraid

Mumbai: A sudden fire broke out at a Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) plant in Raigad district of Maharashtra. There is no report of any loss of life or property in the incident. A police official said in a statement on Monday that a major fire broke out Sunday night at reliance on a Reliance Industries plant at Patalganga Chemical in Raigad, about 51 km from Raigad when a unit of its unit, which was closed for over a month, was restored.

He said, the fire broke out in a boiler after sparking a chemical in the unit. The official said, one fire tender of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation and three fire tenders of RIL were able to control the fire after an hour of hard work. He said, the company has not made any formal complaint or has not lodged any complaint about the damage caused in the incident.

An RIL official said that the fire was a minor fire and no loss of life or property has been reported during the incident. Even after that, the police has been informed in this regard. The fire brigade official said that the fire was not very serious and was soon brought under control.
