Ranchi: A special CBI court pronounced the verdict in the fodder scam pertaining to deceptive withdrawal of more than Rs 89 lakh from Deoghar Treasury between 1991 and 1994 in which Ex Bihar Chief Ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav and Jagannath Mishra had the strong association.

Total 15 people have been found guilty including Lalu Prasad Yadav in Fodder Scam Verdict; 7 innocent including Former Bihar CM Jagannath Mishra.

Lalu Prasad Yadav is found convicted on the other hand Jagannath Mishra acquitted.

CBI judge Shivapal Singh pronounced the verdict in court. He will read out judgment shortly.

Lalu Prasad and Jagannath Mishra have been acquitted in another fodder scam case and they are out on bail.There are 34 indicts in the case, out of which 11 passed away throughout the course of the trial, while one turned CBI approver and confessed the crime. A charge sheet was lodged in opposition to 38 persons on October 27, 1997.

All The accused are holding the charges under IPC sections 120B, 409, 418, 420, 467, 468, 471, 477 (A), 201 and 511 and under Prevention of Corruption Act section 13 (1) Dread with 13 (2).
