Lucknow: The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court has convicted mafia Mukhtar Ansari in a criminal case of Alambagh police station. Yes, it is being told that the court has sentenced Mukhtar two times this year. In fact, a single bench of Justice Dinesh Kumar Singh of the Lucknow Bench of the High Court has given the verdict, accepting the appeal of the state government. Let us tell you that in the year 2003, the then jailer SK Awasthi had lodged an FIR against Mukhtar in the police station Alambagh. According to that FIR, people who had come to meet Mukhtar Ansari in jail were ordered to be searched and threatened with death.

Along with this, while abusing him, Mukhtar also pointed a pistol at him. In the same case, the trial court had acquitted Mukhtar, against whom the government had filed an appeal. Let us tell you that Mukhtar Ansari is currently lodged in Banda Jail and for his security, the duty of a Deputy Jailor of Kanpur has been imposed along with the jail administration. At the same time, according to the jail administration, around 32 security personnel have been set on duty 24 hours under the protection of Mukhtar. In which the security personnel living in the inner barracks are equipped with body cams. This means that the sight of every movement is recorded in the camera installed in the body.

Let us tell you that in the past, DIG Jail Sanjeev Tripathi and DM Anurag Patel had done a surprise inspection of the jail and the jail administration was stirred up due to hours of search. However, fortunately, no incriminating material was found. At the same time, on the instructions of the government, the security system of the jail is being maintained properly. More than 36 CCTV cameras have been installed from the road to the jail campus so that every step of the way can be monitored.
