Freida Pinto, who is expecting her first child with Cory Tran, recently revealed on The Kelly Clarkson Show that she secretly married her boyfriend Cory Tran while COVID-19 was in effect. Pinto said that she married in the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, and that she even had a 'afternoon sleep' when she returned home.

Freida, who is presently expecting her first child with Tran, stunned everyone when she disclosed that she was married after Kelly Clarkson asked her about her wedding plans. Freida told Clarkson that the romance narrative behind the pair eloping during lockdown was "beautiful and straightforward."

The Slumdog Millionaire star said, "How did the couple decide to tie the knot?" "If you must know, it's a really beautiful storey. Of course, when we first got engaged, we imagined ourselves having the most beautiful wedding. It's time for me to clear the air. I had no intention of throwing a huge Indian wedding. It was only going to be something simple and lovely... But then COVID happened, and it's still happening, and we realised we'd be planning this for the rest of our lives, and we'd probably never get around to doing it." 

Freida went on to say that one day the pair decided to just be married at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. "This was amazing!" the actress said when asked about their secret wedding ceremony. We got married, then went home and napped in the afternoon."

Freida had just published photographs from her baby shower on her Instagram account. "Baby Tran, arriving this Fall!" she revealed on Instagram in June after confirming her pregnancy.
