France supports India candidature for permanent UNSC seat: Florence Parly

Rafael, the most awaited state-of-the-art fighter aircraft purchased from France, has now formally joined the Air Force. You must have known that a mega event was held at Ambala Airbase to make Rafael a part of the Golden Arrow Squadron. At the same time, besides Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, French Defense Minister Florence Parley also attended this ceremony. Apart from these two, Chief of Defense (CDS) General Bipin Rawat, Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria and Defense Secretary Ajay Kumar were also seen in the ceremony.

Now France's Defense Minister Florence Parlene has said, 'His country supports India's claim of permanent membership in the UN Security Council.' Yes, he said this in the ceremony. Apart from this, he also said that, "France supports India's claim for permanent membership in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC)." Reiterated his commitment to join it and said, "From the standpoint of manufacturing submarines and other defense equipment, the Make in India program is very important for the French defense companies." Many French companies are now designing their defense equipment by building their offices in India. He said, I hope the French defense companies will get full support in India.

He further said, "Today is an achievement for our countries. Together we are writing a new chapter in Indo-French defense relations. Rafale is a powerful aircraft that will give new strength to the Air Force. Rafael was also used to destroy terrorist bases in Mali. ''
