Jamshedpur: Many incidents of child theft are constantly coming out of India. After the incident of child theft from Mathura railway station and Meerut hospital in UP, a similar incident has also come to light from Jharkhand. An unidentified man fled with a woman and her seven-month-old daughter from Tata Nagar railway station here. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the railway station.

It is being said that the woman survives by begging at the station. For the last one month, she has been staying at Tata Nagar railway station. The woman told the police that as usual, she was sitting on platform number 1 on Monday. Then an unknown person came to him and started talking. The woman said she had to go to the bathroom, so she left her 7-month-old daughter with the man. Then the woman went to the bathroom. But when she returned to the platform, she saw that the person was not there. He searched for her daughter and the man a lot. But she didn't find the two. It did not take long for the woman to realise that the man had fled with her daughter.

The police have registered a case on the complaint of the woman. Police said CCTV cameras at the railway station were scanned and the man was seen leaving. At present, the police are identifying the unknown person with the help of CCTV footage. He said that soon the culprit will be searched and arrested. The person is also being questioned in nearby areas. In her complaint to the police, the woman said she was sitting on platform number 1 of the railway station on Monday. Then an unknown person came to her. He took her out on the pretext of feeding her. Then with the same came back to the platform inside. Due to this, the woman gave her 7-month-old daughter for a while, saying that she is going to the bathroom. She said to take care of her until she came back. But as soon as the woman returned, the man fled with her daughter. SP Rishabh Jha said that on the complaint of the woman, the police have registered a case.
