Begusarai: Today, 30 years have passed since the Kashmiri Pandits were expelled from the valley. Union Minister Giriraj Singh has said on this occasion that 30 years ago, the Kashmiri Pandit was made homeless by the soul of Kashmir, 'Gajwa e Hind'. Giriraj Singh wrote in tweeting that, 'On this day, by striking the neck of Hindustan, the soul of Kashmir made the Kashmiri Pandit homeless and tried Gajwa-e-Hind in Kashmir.'

Giriraj Singh further wrote that, 'Those who indulge in appeasement politics should not extend a helping hand, in one night they became refuges in their own country.' Singh said, 'They will come back, read the mantras of Vedas on Dal Lake again.' It is noteworthy that thirty years ago there was an exodus of minority Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir. Meanwhile, how many governments have come and passed, how many seasons have come, generations have changed, but the fight for the return and justice of Kashmiri Pandits is going on.

The month of January brings an expectation with new year all over the world, but for Kashmiri Pandits this month is full of sorrow, pain and disappointment. January 19 has become a symbol of the tragedy that took place in Kashmir in 1990. Jihadi Islamic forces inflicted havoc on Kashmiri Pandits that there were only three options left for them - either change religion, die or flee.
