SAHARANPUR:  A 19-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself after her relatives killed her boyfriend by beating him.

The assault occurred in the Rampur Maniharan region's Islampur area, according to the police.

Tannu Saini, the female, was a B.Sc. student, and Zia-Ur-Rehman, her boyfriend.

According to reports, the girl family had called the boy to their house where they beat him. He later succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Dehradun.

On Wednesday, the girl ended her. According to the girl's autopsy report, she died by hanging.

Police stated that they had not yet received a complaint in this matter. According to police, no FIR has been filed.

"Police force has been deployed. An investigation is ongoing, and appropriate action will be taken," stated Vipin Tada, SSP of Saharanpur.

Ayub Ahmad, Zia's father and owner of a grocery store, claimed, "On Tuesday, the girl's family invited my son to their home. He was violently beaten before being placed outside the house. We were alerted and hurried to the area where we discovered him on the ground. We brought him to a hospital, where he was later sent to a more advanced facility in Dehradun, where he passed away on Wednesday."
