Panaji: Vaccination is increasing rapidly in the country. Every state is encouraging people to get vaccinated at a rapid pace. Meanwhile, the coastal state of Goa is also involved which is motivating people to get vaccinated. You will be surprised to know that Goa is at the forefront of vaccination. According to data released by the Health Ministry recently, Goa has imposed at least one dose of vaccine on 37.35 per cent of its 15.9 lakh population till last Thursday morning. Moreover, according to new data, Sikkim ranks second with 37.29 per cent of the population giving the first shot.

With this, Himachal Pradesh has given the first dose of vaccine to 30.35 per cent of its population. By doing so, this hill state is at the third position. Now, when it comes to Kerala, it has seen the ups and downs of corona infection, although it ranks fourth with 26.23 per cent first dose vaccination. Now, in Gujarat, the state has administered more than 2crore vaccine doses, and 25.69 per cent of the population has been given the first dose.

Similarly, the Delhi government has given the first dose to 25.39% of the population. Out of 1.87 crore population, 47.52 lakh people have been given the first dose. At the same time, other North Eastern States including Tripura and Mizoram have administered the first dose to 29% and 28% of their respective population. Uttarakhand and the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir have given the first vaccine to more than 24% of their respective population.
