LUCKNOW: The government  of Uttar Pradesh will deploy teams to 7 cities to meet potential investors ahead of the Global Investors' Summit (GIS) being held in February 2023.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath will lead the first roadshow in Mumbai on January 5, 2023. Ministers' Delegations and officials have already visited over 15  countries to seek investments ahead of the Summit.

This time, ministers with independent charge and ministers of state will be accompanying cabinet ministers to pursue investors. The teams for the domestic roadshows will be different from those that went abroad. Each team will also be accompanied by senior bureaucrats.

The Mumbai panel, led by Yogi, will also include industrial development minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' and minister of state for stamp and court fees, Ravindar Jaiswal.

This group includes the chief secretary of the state, D.S. Mishra, the commissioner for infrastructure and industrial development, Arvind Kumar, the principal secretary for tourism, the secretary for planning, the CEO of Invest UP, the additional CEO of Invest UP, and the chief minister's advisor, Avanish Awasthi.
On January 9, Suresh Khanna, the finance minister, would meet with investors in Chennai along with Nitin Agarwal, the minister of state for excise, and Asim Arun, the minister of social welfare.

Former air chief marshal RKS Bhadauria, the chief nodal person for the UP Defence Industrial Corridor, will assist the team.

On January 13, a third team, under the direction of Industries Minister Nandi, will visit Delhi. Yogendra Upadhyay, the minister of information technology and electronics, AK Sharma, the minister of urban development, and Sandeep Singh, the minister of state for elementary education, will accompany him.

On January 16, the road show in Kolkata will be led by deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, minister of industries Nandi, minister of transportation Daya Shankar Singh, and minister of state for IT Ajeet Singh Pal.

On January 18, deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak will lead the roadshow in Hyderabad. He will be joined by ministers of state for technical education Yogendra Upadhyay and Arun Kumar Saxena.
