Goa CM launched the logo for FIFA U-17 world cup India 2017

The Chief Minister of Goa Manhor Parrikar finally relieved the logo of the FIFA U-17 world cup India 2017 at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim.The logo is designed by Sharmila Coutino, the logo resembles a common sight of the people playing the beautiful game.

The Chief Minister of Goa while speaking on the occasion said that "Goa is getting ready to welcome the teams for the U17 FIFA World Cup. Goa loves football that is why we have declared it as the official sport of the state."

Javier Ceppi, the FIFA U-17 World Cup tournament director said "We are very happy that Goa now has an image associated with the tournament. The state government has promised to take the host city logo all around the state and to do a big promotional push for the tournament which is fantastic. To support that we will be opening the sales of a physical ticket at the Fatorda stadium box office on September 7."

Between October 6 and 28, The first tournament of the FIFA world cup is scheduled to take place. Goa is one of the six venues that will be hosting the FIFA U17. The match will be played at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
