A passenger who arrived at nearby Karipur International airport from Riyadh with gold bars worth Rs 98 lakh were seized by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence officials.
Passenger identified as 32 year old Rafeeq who arrived here from Riyadh by an Etihad Airlines flight, was intercepted outside the airport and 28 gold bars, each weighing 116.7 grams recovered from his bagagge, Salim, Intelligence Officer of DRI, Kozhikode, said.
