New Delhi: The government is likely to give a big gift to central government employees next month. It is reported that the central government may pay the outstanding DA of the employees in July. At the same time, an increase in the DA of the employees can also be announced. Government employees are yet to receive da rupees from January 2020 to June 2021. They are constantly demanding payment of their dues.

The government had put the DA on hold due to Corona (Covid). It is now being told that the government may soon pay the DA arrears of 18 months. It is being told that the government can put Rs 2 lakh in the account of the employees once. The da arrears will be received by the employees according to their salary band. If the government pays da arrears, the DA arrears of level 1 employees can be between Rs 11880 and Rs 37000. At the same time, the government can pay level 13 employees from Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 as DA arrears.

The same government is likely to increase the DA of central employees by 4 to 5 per cent in the month of July. However, the government has not yet officially made any statement on this. However, in view of the rising inflation, it is being said that the government can provide relief by increasing the DA of its employees. At present, employees are getting DA at the rate of 34 per cent. In March, the government had increased the DA by 3 per cent. If the government increases the DA of employees even by 4 per cent in view of the inflation figures, then 50 lakh employees and 65 lakh pensioners will get the benefit of it. The DA received by the government employees is part of their financial assistance salary structure.
