Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh): As part of the Vibrancy programme, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a video conference with district collectors, police superintendents and JCS on various issues at the camp office on Wednesday. He has instructed the authorities to set up help desks in all ArogyaSri hospitals by the next month 10th. He clarified that all government and private health hospitals should have help desks and CCTV cameras.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister suggested district collectors, police superintendents and JCS to prepare a specific SOP on health assistants (Telugu-health friends). Apart from this, joint district collectors should see how health assistance is implemented in the state. He said 9,800 posts were sanctioned for hospitals. Of these, 7,700 posts have to be appointed to district judges. So far, 5,797 posts have been appointed. The District Collector should take necessary steps to appoint other posts.

He said that the Jagannanana Sahog (Telugu-Jagannanna) scheme will be launched on November 25. Under this scheme, 6.29 lakh applications are linked to banks. The remaining applications should also be sent to banks immediately.

Corona virus infection in the state -

In the last twenty-four hours, the number of patients infected with corona virus in Andhra Pradesh is 1,236. 69,618 people have taken blood samples in the last 24 hours. A total of 6,899 patients infected with kovid died in the state. 1,696 patients have been discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. 9 patients died from 9 a.m. Tuesday to 9 a.m. Wednesday due to corona virus infection.

This year more than two lakh students have joined government schools in Andhra Pradesh.
