New Delhi: The Modi government in the center has issued advisory about the drug hydroxychloroquine (HOCQ), which is proving effective in fighting the corona virus. Through this advisory, the government has told who cannot use it. The government's letter information office (PIB) has also tweeted the advisory issued by the Health Ministry on Twitter.

The government has issued this advisory after consulting the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It has been said in this advisory that this medicine should not be given to children below 15 years of age. Also, people who are already suffering from retinopathy or have hypersensitivity to HOCQ or 4-aminoquinoline compounds should not take this medicine.

The ICMR has said that this drug will not be available to treat corona in the Indian market until the exact results of the test are found. Talking to a news agency, ICMR scientist R Ganga Ketkar said that "It is not necessary to use this medicine right now for treatment. If this drug reduces infection, we will know about it only after the test." The doctor has tested this medicine on some patients, the result of which is yet to come. Until we get concrete results, we will not instruct anyone to take it. "
