New Delhi: The Budget Session of Parliament began on Tuesday (January 31). President Draupadi Murmu addressed the joint session of Parliament for the first time. President Murmu in her 1-hour 2-minute address said that India has a strong-willed government. This government is working without fear. For this, President Murmu cited surgical strikes, strictness on terrorism, Article 370, and triple talaq.

President Draupadi Murmu also expressed gratitude to the people for giving two consecutive chances to the government. He said that we have to make a self-reliant India, where there is no poverty and the middle class is prosperous. Along with this, she talked about continuing the scheme of free food grains to the poor. While the President mentioned the street vendors, on the other hand, he also told about the government's work of giving Samman Nidhi of Rs 2.25 lakh crore to help 11 crore small farmers.

At the same time, before the start of the budget session, PM Narendra Modi said that there will be a dispute in the House, but there should be a discussion too. He said that the opposition has come with full preparation. We will extract nectar for the country by churning it very well. The whole world is watching the budget of our country. People will have a lot of expectations from this budget. The world is looking towards our country with hope. Our goal should be country first countrymen first.
