Gandhinagar: A big news has come from Bharuch city of Gujarat. In fact, a fire broke out in the corona care ward at Patel Welfare Hospital here. The fire is said to have reached the ICU ward and a stampede broke out in the hospital after seeing the massive fire. On seeing that, rescue operations were launched. Several hospital patients are said to have come under the fire. Fire tenders have started trying to control the fire as soon as they are informed about the case. So far, 18 people have been reported killed in a serious accident.

The incident took place around 12 pm last Friday. 30 is said to be there. As per the information received in the case, a fire broke out in the covid ward of Patel Welfare Hospital in Bharuch. It is said that there was an ICU ward at the spot where the fire broke out and the fire started spreading so fast that it took time to evacuate the patients. By the time the patients were evacuated, a large number of patients were engulfed in flames.

According to reports, about 49 patients were admitted to the corona ward, out of which 24 patients were in ICU. The Bharuch collector says, "18 people have died due to fire, while the injured have been admitted to another hospital for treatment.'' According to reports, the patients were also shifted in hurry to another hospital after the Patel Welfare Hospital was evacuated.
