Gujarat govt orders to get vaccinated by June 30, otherwise...

Ahmedabad: Though the second wave may seem to be calming down across the country, vaccination is being carried out at a high level at various places in the country to prevent a possible third wave. Meanwhile, the Vijay Rupani government in Gujarat has made it mandatory for people engaged in "business activities" in 18 cities and cities of the state to get vaccine suo-clockwise by June 30 to prevent corona.

Night curfew is currently underway in these cities and cities due to coronavirus. The government has fixed July 10 as the deadline for vaccination for such people in the rest of the state. However, the Government has not determined what action it will take against those who are not able to get the vaccine under this stipulated time frame. The decision was taken at a meeting of the state government's core committee on corona held at his residence led by CM Vijay Rupani on Thursday evening.

In a release, the state government said, "It is mandatory for directors, owners and personnel engaged in business activities in 18 cities where curfew will continue for the next few days till June 30. The government has warned that business and private institutions that do not comply with the order will be shut down.
