Ahmedabad: In Gujarat, a lady cop has been suspended in Mehsana district. The reason was that she posted the video on social media Tik Tok while dancing to a song inside the police station. Officials have informed that her name is Arpita Chaudhary and she was recruited for the Public Guard Team (LRD).

In the video, she is seen dancing in front of a lock-up at the Skipping police station in Mehsana district. Another video has also been posted in which Arpita Chaudhary, while on duty, is not wearing a uniform. Deputy Superintendent of Police Manjeetha Vanzara told the press that "Arpita Chaudhary has violated the rules. She was not wearing uniform while on duty. The police personnel should follow the discipline, which has not been done and that is why they have been suspended.

Vanzara said Chaudhary shot the video on July 20 and circulated it on social media sites and Whatsapp. Recruited in the LRD in 2016, Chaudhary was transferred to Mehsana in 2018, said the Deputy Superintendent.
