Mumbai Indains (MI) all-rounder Hardik Pandya is playing impressive innings  in ongoing IPL. will His swashbuckling batting has mesmerized the audience he has shown an exceptional array of shots for MI while emerging as an incredible finisher for his side. In 15 matches this season, Hardik has scored 393 runs at a strike rate of almost 200 and has also taken 14 wickets. With such an outstanding performance in the IPL, Yuvraj Singh believes the all-rounder will have a big role to play at the World Cup. It comes from a man who was the player of the tournament during India’s World Cup triumph in 2011.

Yuvraj yold Reuters,  "It's a five-fielder rule and part-timers don't get away with that kind of bowling, it's going to be tough to bowl the sixth bowler. But if you go with five (frontline) bowlers, then you know somebody has to bowl four to five overs maximum. If somebody is not bowling well, then someone has to chip in."

Yuvraj was India’s go-to option at the 2011 World Cup as he scalped 15 wickets. Now he believes that the bowling all-rounder can do the job in England in May. Yuvraj said, "I told him (Hardik)  that 'you have a great chance of performing really well with the ball and bat', the kind of form he is in at the moment. Definitely, the way he is batting at the moment, it is phenomenal and I hope he carries that form.

India will begin their World Cup campaign on June 6 against South Africa at Southampton.
