CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal announced on Wednesday that the state government has decided to introduce a new module to the Human Resources Management System application (HRMS) to update the police verification of recently hired employees. This will help to streamline operations, minimise delays, and ensure a smoother and faster completion of the appointment process.

When leading a meeting to create a module for police verification of newly hired Group A, B, C, and D personnel utilising the HRMS system, the Chief Secretary made this statement.  He gave the National Informatics Centre Haryana personnel instructions to guarantee that this module was implemented within two weeks.

The goal of this module is to streamline the police verification procedure and ensure that it is completed in a quicker and more effective manner, he said. The government seeks to hasten the issuance of appointment orders and assist the fast filling of open positions by connecting the police verification system with the HRMS.

The Chief Secretary made it apparent that the existing police clearance and verification process, particularly with regard to the checking of antecedents, frequently takes a long time. As a result, the issuance of appointment orders and the subsequent filling of open jobs are delayed excessively.

The HHRMS (Human Resource Management System) module is a valuable tool designed to streamline and accelerate the process of police verification for employees. This module aims to optimize the verification process by digitizing and automating various stages involved in conducting background checks.

By leveraging the HHRMS module, police departments can seamlessly integrate with the organization's HR system, allowing for quick and efficient exchange of relevant employee information. This integration enables automated verification requests, eliminating the need for manual paperwork and reducing the chances of errors or delays.

The module facilitates real-time data sharing between the organization and the police department, ensuring that employee information remains up to date. It enables the police authorities to access the required data directly from the system, enabling faster and more accurate verifications.

Moreover, the HHRMS module can provide alerts and notifications to HR personnel and the police department regarding the status of verification requests. This feature enables both parties to stay informed about the progress of the verification process, helping them to promptly address any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.

The HHRMS module significantly speeds up the police verification process for employees, saving time, reducing administrative burdens, and enhancing the overall efficiency of the hiring and onboarding procedures.
