Hazaribagh: A number of cases are coming to light from the country day in and day out, in which as long as the police administration and the general public know a method of cheating, the thugs also start cheating with a new tactic. Now the cyber accused have invented a new method of cheating which has been named sextortion. In Jharkhand, Hazaribagh police have detained two persons for allegedly extorting money in the name of giving escort service by making fake phones.

According to the same police, both of them have also confessed to their crime. After the case came to light, the challenges of the police have increased and cyber experts have called for avoiding the link meaning through which fishy is implicated. Hazaribagh police are said to have received a secret report that some boys were on the lookout for cybercrime in Lakha in the Korra police station area. Some boys were trying to commit cybercrime at Dayanand Devchand Ravidas's house in Lakhe.

On the basis of the information, Hazaribagh police raided and nabbed Suraj Kumar and Hemant Kumar and sent both of them to jail. According to police, the fraudsters used to create an account on Outlook and purchase fake Sim from another's ID and upload their number on this portal. The fraudsters have confessed to the crime in the interrogation of people in the name of escort service. The criminals also said that customers who do not pay them money are blackmailed by making obscene videos.
