New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry has released new figures of corona virus in the country. The ministry has reported that as of Sunday, the death toll from Corona has risen to 2,109 and total cases of infection have risen to 62,939. According to the data released by the ministry, 128 people died and 3,277 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.

Giving information, the Ministry has said that 41,472 people in the country are still in the grip of infection, who are undergoing treatment. While 19,357 people have recovered and one patient has gone abroad. Now the rate of recovery is about 30.75 percent. The total corona patients also include 111 foreign nationals. Of the total 2,109 dead in Corona, Maharashtra has the highest number of 779. 472 people have lost their lives in Gujarat, 215 in Madhya Pradesh, 171 in West Bengal, 106 in Rajasthan, 74 in Uttar Pradesh, 73 in Delhi and 44-44 in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

At the same time, the death toll is 31 in Punjab and 30-30 in Karnataka and Telangana. Nine people have lost their lives in both Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana from Corona, while five in Bihar and four in Kerala have lost their lives due to the disease. Three people have died from Corona in Jharkhand.
