New Delhi: The entire north India including Delhi-NCR is in the grip of cold. For the past few days, Sheethar has started showing his influence. In Delhi, the temperature was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius on Sunday (December 22) at 6 in the morning. Today, the maximum temperature is expected to be 18 degrees Celsius. The fog has also started to increase with the freezing cold. Visibility 50 meters was recorded at 6 am today.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of providing relief to the people of Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad along with the capital Delhi from this havoc of cold wave. In order to protect children from the outbreak of cold in the past, a holiday for two days was declared in schools all over Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, rain shelters have been made in Delhi where people are taking shelter to avoid the cold.

On Monday, the minimum temperature in the country's capital is expected to be 6 degrees while the maximum temperature is 20 degrees Celsius. Talking about the rest of the states of the country, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West-Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will get very cold. Apart from this, there is a possibility of dense fog in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura.
