Begumpet: IMD bulletin has warned of heavy rain in seven other districts of the state including Vikarabad, Sangareddy and Medak today, September 23. It said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at many places in Telangana from September 23 to 25 .Due to the pressure created in the Bay of Bengal, light rain and showers occurred in many areas of the city on Wednesday. In many areas, rain water filled the roads, causing inconvenience to the motorists. The IMD bulletin said that areas of the city received moderate rains during the day.

According to the forecast, there is a possibility of moderate to light rain or drizzle for three days from 23rd September with moderate to cloudy sky. The IMD bulletin said on Wednesday that it would rain on September 27 and 28. The record was 9 cm in Papannapet of Medak district. Meanwhile, Medak, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Vikarabad and Hyderabad districts received rain during the last 24 hours. Papannapet in Medak district recorded 9 cm of rain.

The major amounts of rainfall (in cm) were: Regode (Medak), Kodangal (Vikarabad), Sangareddy, Bezjanaki (Siddipet), Medak, Chegunta, Tekmal (Medak), Kondapur (Sangareddy) 3–3 cm. 2 -2 cm in Narayankhed (Sangareddy), Marpalle (Vikarabad), Sangareddy, Tandur and Ramyampet, Daulatabad, Kondurag, Hyderabad, Nawabpet, Raikode, Gajwel, Alladurg, Wargal, Jagdevpur, Vikarabad, Kondapak, Sadashivpet, Nanganur, Saroornagar and Doma It rained 1-1 cm.
