Jaipur: 2020 is about to end, but before the farewell, snowfall has wreaked havoc in many parts of the country. There is heavy snowfall in the hilly areas. There is heavy snowfall from Himachal Pradesh to Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir. In many areas, the temperature has gone down to several degrees in minus. Cold and dry northwest winds from the Western Himalayas are expected to cause a cold wave.

These cold winds can reach Patna before New Year. According to the Meteorological Department, these winds will bring down the minimum temperature of North India by three to five degrees Celsius. The mercury has reached minus in Dalhousie. There is about 4 feet of snowfall here. Tourists are enjoying this snowfall, but a crisis has also arisen. Where the tourists' cars were, they have frozen, there is also a white sheet of snow on the roads. That means all the tourists are trapped. Everything in Shimla, called the queen of the mountains, is seen buried in snow, trees, mountains, hotels, roads, cars, snow has engulfed everything. There is so much snow on the roads in Shimla that snow has to be removed with the help of JCB.

Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, received its first snowfall of the season. Due to snowfall, contact of upper Shimla has been broken with the country and the world, which is left where it is. Electricity has also failed in many areas of Shimla city.
