Florence Pugh came to Instagram to broadcast a "rant" in which she asked people to dress up as Yelena, her Black Widow character, for Halloween. Pugh took to Instagram after discovering her costume was gone from a window display featuring Halloween costumes inspired by Johansson's Black Widow and Harbour's Red Guardian.

Florence posed for a selfie in front of a window display featuring Halloween costumes inspired by Black Widow after realising Yelena's outfit was stolen. The actress continued to write a long message in her captions to persuade her fans why Yelena's outfit would be a good choice considering the amount of pockets her beloved vest has.

In the caption, Pugh wrote, "Apparently Yelena didn’t make the cut. GUYS. I LITERALLY TALK ABOUT POCKETS IN NEARLY EVERY SCENE. Halloween= A LOT OF FREE SWEETIES. May I remind you that the vest has “A LOT OF HANDY POCKETS”. Costume vest POCKETS= someone who came prepared. It is essential that we recognise Yelena's relevance for Halloween. "Thank you for listening to my rant."

With Halloween approaching, fans are sure to be inspired by their favourite characters and dress up like them for the scary occasion. It will be fascinating to watch whether Yelena's followers duplicate her appearance, especially since Florence made a compelling case for why her outfit should be included in the mix if anybody was considering of donning Black Widow costumes.

Pugh first appeared as Yelena Belova in Marvel's Black Widow and will reprise the role in the forthcoming MCU programme Hawkeye.
