High Alert! JeM threaten to blow up railway stations including Amritsar and four other

Firozpur: On Thursday, in a recent turn, Security has been tightened in Punjab, after Pakistan based terror organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) issued a threat to blow up five railway stations under Firozpur railway division. To be noted that in the wake of the threat, Railway officials have been asked to maintain a high vigil to avoid any untoward incident.

According to The Source report, the threat to blow up railways stations was issued to Regional Manager Vivek Kumar by Jaish-e-Mohammed area commander Mansoor Ahmed. Here it is to be noted that in the letter, it was mentioned that Jaish would avenge the killings of its members by exploding bombs at Firozpur, Jalandhar, Faridkot, Amritsar and Barnala railway stations on May 13.

Here it is t be noted that to avoid any unfortunate incident, luggage of railway passengers are being checked thoroughly. The threat was issued through WhatsApp. To be noted that the Punjab police has started an investigation into the matter now.

However it is worth mention here that in February this, Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted air strikes at JeM terror camps in Pakistan’s Balakot in retaliation to February 14 Pulwama attack in which claimed lives of 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. To be noted that after the air strikes, Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale had said, “a very large number of JeM terrorists, trainers, senior commanders and groups of jihadis who were being trained for fidayeen action were eliminated.” Meanwhile, media reports claimed that 250-300 terrorists were killed.
