Shimla. In the case of a leak of the examination paper of Himachal Pradesh Police recruitment, the government has made a big announcement. Now the test will be taken back from the recruitment. CM Jai Ram Thakur announced that the Return test will be held again and an SIT has been formed in the matter. Responding to media queries on the paper leak, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said he has directed the police department to conduct an inquiry. His government's priority is that the examination and recruitment be transparent. The CM said that an SIT has been formed to probe the matter.

 

CM Jai Ram Thakur has informed that the written examination for 1700 posts was held on March 27 and now a case has been registered in Kangra in this regard. He further said that the SIT has been formed under the leadership of DIG Madhosdun. The Written Test for fresh recruitment will be conducted within a month. In fact, three candidates had secured 70 marks out of 90 in the exam. When their documents were seen, their average marks in the 10th and 12th grades were the same. 

 

When it was suspected, the police interrogated the three and during the interrogation, the three youths broke down and told the whole truth. Inquiries revealed that the papers were already leaked by paying Rs 7 to 8 lakh. The police suspect that the slips may have leaked from the printing press where the paper was printed. At the same time, the wires of the paper leak gang can be connected to Delhi and Haryana.
