Shimla: The COVID-19 positive candidates of the state will not be able to give the TET exam to be taken by Himachal Pradesh School Education Board. These candidates will be given an opportunity in the proposed TET examination in December. During this time, the candidates will not have to pay any fees, nor will have to apply again for the TET Exam. According to the information, the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has been conducting the examination of eight subjects in the entire state since 25 August.

In these examinations, about 50 thousand candidates of the state will give TET exam in about 150 centres, but during this time there are three students from the state, who are currently undergoing treatment for COVID-19. These three candidates will be deprived of sitting in the TET exam. COVID-19 positive patients will be given the opportunity to sit in the TET exam proposed in December. Simultaneously, they have been asked to participate in the proposed exam in December.

District Collector Kangra Rakesh Kumar Prajapati said that "At present, many places in the city have been made containment and buffer zones. Candidates belonging to these areas will be approved to go for the examination. He said that the candidates who belong to such areas can go to the examination by informing the Sub Divisional Administration".
