New Delhi: The Hanuman Chalisa recitation was performed near the historic building Qutub Minar on behalf of the workers of some Hindu organisations in the capital Delhi on Tuesday. At the same time, the demand has been raised by the Hindu organizations to rename Qutub Minar as Vishnu Stambha.

According to the information, the protest of Hindu organisations near Qutub Minar has been going on since Mangalwal morning. The members of the Hindu organization Mahakal Manav Seva protested by reciting Hanuman Chalisa near Qutub Minar. Hindu organisations have claimed that the Qutub Minar is actually a Vishnu pillar. This minaret was constructed by demolishing Jain and Hindu temples. However, the police, who rushed to the spot as soon as they received the information, have taken some people into custody. Security arrangements have been beefed up at the Qutub Minar complex by the police.

At the same time, the Delhi Police has put the International Working Chief of the United Hindu Front and national president of the Nationalist Shiv Sena, Jai Bhagwan Goyal, under house arrest for not allowing him to read the Hanuman Chalisa near the Qutub Minar. These protesters are demanding that India is an eternal land, so along with the Qutub Minar, all the Mughal-era buildings and roads should also be renamed.
