Lucknow: Attempts have been made to disturb the communal atmosphere by writing controversial slogans at some places in Banda district of Uttar Pradesh. Here, words like 'Hindu to leave India' are written in black on the walls. As soon as the incident came to notice, the police registered a case on Saturday (May 6) and started investigation. Efforts are on to identify the accused. It is being told that the locality where this act took place is a Muslim dominated area and the population of Hindus there is very less.

According to reports, this case has come to light from Kotwali Nagar area of Banda district. Here the Mardan Naka area is considered to be Muslim dominated. Ramlal Prajapati lives with his family in this locality. It is alleged that 'Hindu Quit India' and 'Hindu Ghar Khali Karo' were written on the wall of his house and the nearby toilet on Saturday. In no time the people of the locality started gathering there. When the police got the information about the matter, they also reached there immediately. The police got the wall cleaned and erased the words written there. When Hindu organizations came to know about this act, they also started gathering on the spot.

Many activists of Hindu organizations registered a case with the police and demanded strict action against the culprits. He also demanded the administration to ensure the safety of Hindus living in Mardan Naka area. On the other hand, the Banda police have started investigation by registering an FIR against unknown people in the case themselves becoming litigants. Additional SP of Banda Police has told that, all the officers are present on the spot and investigation has been started after registering the case. He further told that after identifying the accused, strict action will be implemented.
