Patna: A shocking incident has come to light in the Munger district of Bihar. When a woman returned from the market in Jagatpur village told her husband that a man had molested her. On this, her husband along with other 6 persons have been beaten to death by the alleged 56-year-old middle-aged man. The police have registered a case against 7 persons on the statement of the wife of the deceased in the case. The police arrested two women while the hunt for the rest of the criminals is on.
Actually, Mahesh Das, resident of Jagatpur village of Tetiabamber police station area, was sitting at his house. Then his neighbor Brahmdev Das came to his house and started abusing him. When he protested, he started beating Mahesh Das. Due to this Mahesh Das fell to the ground and became unconscious. Thereafter, the family members picked him up and took him to a hospital in Tilkari village where the doctor declared him brought dead. Here, as soon as the news of the death was received, the thrasher fled with his family.
According to Bhudev Prasad Das, RJD's Block President Tetiabamber, Mahesh Das was returning after shopping from Tilakari Hatia on Tuesday evening. On the way, a relative was found with whom he started discussing. He told the said person that he forgot to take tomatoes. Many times he said tomato-tomato. Due to this, the wife of his neighbor Brahmadev Das was leaving from there. He felt that Mahesh was saying tomato-tomato just after seeing him. She went home and told the family members that Mahesh Das had molested her. Due to this, Brahmadev and his family members beat him up and died due to which he died. On the other hand, an FIR was registered at the Tetiyabamber police station on the statement of the deceased's wife Manju Devi. In Brahmadev Das, Dilip Das, Akash Das, Pooja Devi, Poonam Devi, Subodh Das, and his wife were named. The same police have arrested two women and the search is on for the rest of the criminals.
