Three-time Rajendranagar MLA T Prakash Gaur went to attend a sari distribution program at Bahadurguda gram panchayat as part of Bathukamma festival on Saturday when a dispute broke out between local villagers and leaders. The MLA arrived to address the people, however, the frustration of the villagers took hold, who started shouting at the leader for the delay in issuance of Patta passbooks.

He alleged that years went by without fulfilling the promise while the delegates continued to visit their area. Amidst the protesters, the MLAs were seen hurriedly running towards their car in the security cordon. Though the MLA cut short the speech and got into his car while finishing the event, angry villagers stopped his vehicle, demanding an explanation from him for the delay. However, the police chased away the protesters to make way for the convoy.

As the clash intensified, TRS leaders were seen fighting with each other, which exposed the incident. Though MLA T Prakash Gaur holds the record of being the longest-serving MLA in Rajendranagar constituency, the blue and knee-jerk reaction of villagers against him raised eyebrows of many in the constituency and the incident, which went like a wildfire Talk about a city that has spread, has become one, even though the TRS leadership has tried its best to play down the issue.
