Hyundai Motor India, a leader in the field of vehicle manufacturing, has rolled out 200 cars on the first day as soon as production starts at Sriperumbudur plant in Chennai. The company started production on 8 May 2020, ensuring 100% compliance of social distances as per standard operating procedure. Hyundai is following all the guidelines set by the state and central government and is practicing 360 degree security in the factory premises at all times - care at the workplace and care at all times within the factory premises.

Hyundai has also issued special safety measures and detailed guidelines for its sales and service outlets to ensure the safety of customers and dealership employees.
