ICMR to do serosurvey to identify coronavirus patients

New Delhi: The number of coronavirus patients in the country is increasing day by day. The number of corona infected is creating a new record every day. Meanwhile, ICMR has informed that a nationwide serosurvey will be conducted to detect corona infected in India. Corona infected will be exposed through this survey.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) will conduct this serosurvey. In this survey, samples of people's blood are tested. It will be helpful to know about the development of antibodies. Doctors will be able to find out how many people got infected by the virus. Earlier similar surveys were conducted in April. However, its results have not been revealed yet.

After the serosurvey conducted in April, ICMR is considering conducting another serosurvey across India. The coronavirus outbreak in India is at its peak. The number of corona patients has reached eight lakh 22 thousand 603 here. So far 22,144 people have lost their lives in India. More than five lakh people recovered.
