Lucknow: Hurt by the removal of handmade idols in the Bandar Baba temple located in Dabauli West, Govind Nagar, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the priest committed suicide by hanging himself in the temple premises. When the police reached on the information of the family members, they investigated, then the names of 3 people were found in a suicide note along with the inscription of the temple, the box of the speaker. Whom the priest has said responsible for the suicide.

According to reports, 75-year-old Radheshyam Yadav, a resident of Daboli West in Govind Nagar, used to offer prayers at the Bandar Baba temple, located 50 meters away from his house. Son Anil has informed that in 2019, the father had made the idols of God with his own hands and installed them in the temple. About 6 months ago, some people of the locality immersed the idols made by the father in the Ganges and installed new idols in place of those idols. After which the father started living in mental depression.

On Saturday night, the father had left home saying that he would sleep in the temple. When he did not reach home on Sunday morning, the mother reached the temple to call him. During this time the door of the temple was open and with the help of dhoti, the father's body was hanging in the temple premises itself. On receiving the information of the incident, the son informed the police. The police reached the spot and found the inscriptions of the temple, the names of some people written in the speaker's box. Along with this, a suicide note has also been recovered from the temple. In which he has told 3 people responsible for his suicide. The suicide note is currently being investigated.
