Dehradun: An incident of rape of a student has come to light in the Dalanwala police station area of Uttarakhand. It is alleged that the youth took the student to the room and raped her by showing fear of committing suicide. The student has also accused the man's friend of molestation. Dalanwala police have registered an incident of rape and started an investigation.  

Dalanwala Kotwali in-charge NK Bhatt said that the victim lives with her brother in rented housing. He said he went to the library to study. There was a man named Mahesh following her. He took the phone number from somewhere and started disturbing her.

She said she refused several times, but he didn't agree. According to the victim, on July 8, the culprit met her in the library. Asked to go to the room to talk urgently. If she refused, he threatened to commit suicide, which scared her. It is alleged that he raped her in the room. He threatened to kill her if she told anything to anyone. According to the victim, the culprit has given her number to many people. The next day, a call was received from a boy named Raman Kant Pal. He called her into the room pretending to teach her and started molesting her. On protesting, he said that this number has been given to him by Mahesh. The SHO said that a case has been registered against the two on the complaint of the victim. The matter is being investigated.
