The prices of petrol and diesel (petrol diesel price) are constantly increasing and its effect is now on cab and taxi rides. In fact, amid a steady surge in oil prices, app-based cab aggregator Uber (Uber) has increased fares. In such a situation, the company has increased the fare in Mumbai by 15 percent from last Saturday i.e. April 2. Let us also tell you all that on March 30, the price of petrol in Mumbai had crossed the level of Rs 100. Currently, diesel is being sold at Rs 101.79 per litre while the price of petrol is Rs 117.57 per litre. This is the second time in the last one year that uber has increased fares. In fact, in July 2021, both Ola and Uber had increased their fares by 15 per cent. Among all this, traditional black and yellow cabs are also advocating fare hikes. Let you all know that according to Uber's Fare Calculation formula, they combine per kilometer and travel time with fixed base fare. The revised fare will be 15 per cent as compared to earlier.

Let us also tell all of you that the prices of petrol and diesel in the country were increased by 80 paise today i.e. on Saturday. Its price per litre has been increased by Rs 7.2 during the last 12 days so far. According to the price notification of delhi's fuel retailers, the price of petrol in the capital is now Rs 102.61 per litre, while the price of diesel has gone up to Rs 93.87.
